Donate Your Old/Used Eye Glasses & Hearing Aids

The Ithaca Lions collect used eye glasses and hearing aids to give to people in need. All eye glasses collected are given to people who do not have the means to own new glasses in third world countries. Used hearing aids are recycled. The money received for them help provide new hearing aids for individuals in western New York State who otherwise cannot afford them. Lifelong is one of several drop-off sites for used eye glasses and hearing aids. So please consider dropping off any old glasses or hearing aids at Lifelong or any other drop off locations in Tompkins County.

54th Annual Meeting & Luncheon

This year Lifelong's Annual Meeting was on May 16, 2006 at the Ramada Inn. Our keynote speaker was Dr. Rob Mac Kenzie, President & CEO of Cayuga Medical Center. Our Master of Ceremonies was Richie Moran and entertainment was provided by Jazz Bassist Bernie Upson & Pianist Gene Cothran.
At our meeting we elected four new board members: Dan Winch, Priscilla Barber, Wilma Martin, and Jason Artiste. We welcome each of these new members to the board and know that they will contribute a great deal to our community.
