Distinguished Speaker will be Gene D. Cohen, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. Cohen is a graduate of Harvard College and the Georgetown University School of Medicine and has a doctorate in Gerontology from The Union Institute. He is also the author of more than 150 publications in the field of aging, including several edited text books. His individually authored books include The Brain in Human Aging, The Creative Age: Awakening Human Potential in the Second Half of Life, and The Mature Mind: The Positive Power of the Aging Brain.
After the presentation Dr. Cohen will hold a book signing of his book, The Mature Mind: The Positive Power of the Aging Brain. Sponsored by the Ithaca College Gerontology Institute.
This presentation is free and will be held at Ithaca College in the Nabenhauer Room of the Whalen Center for Music. Park in the “J” Lot behind the Towers; To the left (south) of the Towers take the glass covered Baker Walkway; At the end take the elevator down to level “L” – Lobby; upon exiting the elevator go through the glass doors and proceed through the lobby and look for signs to the Nabenhauer Recital Hall.
